Camera Austria International<\/em> no. 165 takes its point of departure from the bipartite exhibition Exposure<\/em> \/ Double Exposure<\/em>, which in September 2023 kicked off the program of Camera Austria\u2019s curator Anna Voswinckel. In two group exhibitions, which flowed seamless\u00adly into each other and at times overlapped, artists presented works reflecting the concept of \u201cexposure\u201d that defines photography. On the one hand, the term stands for the technical realization of the image-making process, namely, the exposure of the photographic paper. On the other, \u201cto expose\u201d as a verb inherently signifies the unmasking or uncovering of a situation or a person, while the adjective \u201cexposed\u201d denotes the moment of becoming bare or vulnerable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
