Since 1989 Seiichi Furuya has published five books under the title “Mémoires”, dedicated to the memory of his wife. Photographs from the time in East Germany are the main feature of this book, with which Furuya concludes his “Mémoires”. Einar Schleef wrote a piece entitled “Schwarz Rot Gold” (Black Red Gold) on Seiichi Furuya’s photographs in 1996/97.
