In 1990, Friedl Kubelka founded the School for Artistic Photography in Vienna and has been supporting aspiring artists in the photographic arts ever since. Every year it changes the curriculum so as to facilitate lively exchange with a number of local and international artists. Classes emphasize theoretical analysis, practical work with methods of analogue photography, and absolute interest in the motif. The exhibition series “enjoy photography” was established by Anja Manfredi in 2013 and shows artwork by graduates and teachers of the Friedl Kubelka School.
