CAMERA AUSTRIA No. 7 was dedicated to the first part of the publication of the SYMPOSIUM ON PHOTOGRAPHY III (steirischer herbst 1981). The seventy-page book features contributions by Didier Bay, Tsuneo Enari, Luigi Ghirri, Paul de Nooijer, Roger Palmer, and Wilhelm Schürmann, and the magazine at hand, CAMERA AUSTRIA No. 8, offers a conclusion by publishing the lectures.

For your information, here is a preview of CAMERA AUSTRIA No. 9: planned are monographic contributions by Robert Adams, Les Krims, Branko Lenart, and Issei Suda, the third part of “Geschichte der Künstlerfotografie” (History of Artist Photography) by Peter Weibel (with sole reference to the Austrian situation, 1950 to the present), as well as exhibition and book reviews, the 1st Advancement Award for Photo Art, the Reader Forum, and an extensive timetable.
